Some Enchanted Evening
( #1 Lost Princesses )
I found this is to be boring I had a hard time getting into his book. I didn't like the fact that the princesses who was supposed to be in hiding was out selling beauty products and telling everyone who she is. It did get a letter better and I was able to finish the book. There were to many characters and trying to keep them all straight was to much work. I don't know yet if I will read the other two books.

Summary
Isolde Ophelia Goodnight liked to be called Izzy. After her father who had been a author of a series of children's stories dies. You would except Izzy's life to be fairy tale but it wasn't. Plain 26 year-old Izzy was alone, homeless, penniless, and friendless until she receives a letter stating that her godfather left her a bequest. Her enitre existence hinges on that letter.
Plot
The bequest befitting a fairy tail girl, is a castle and it comes with it's own beast. A crippled, blind, scared, Duke, a monstrous, terrifying masterpiece. The castle actually belongs to Ransom and he is not that eager to hand it over to her. The castle has been in his family for generations and due to a misunderstanding it has been sold. She may have the name of a damsel in a fairy tail, but she is a grown woman who is hungry, desperate, has no where else to go and this woman is standing her ground. Ransom and Izzy come to a not so easy agreement. She will stay and be his secretary and sort out his long-neglected correspondance( blind men can't really answer letters) and figure out the legal fiasco that led to his castle being sold.
Herione
I loved Izzy's character she was so spunky, funny, optimistic, quirky, endearing, cute, and funny. Her life was not perfect, but she never give up every time Ransom tried to get rid of her she just ignores his dismissal and pretends he's kidding and that drove him nuts.
Hero
Ransom is a gruff, grumpy, devilish, bad-tempered, scared, damaged, and emotionally wounded hero who had a tender heart underneath it all. He had a scared past and he doesn't allow himself to be loved. Without him realizing it Izzy's finds her way not, only into his home but his heart as well.
My Thoughts
This book is pa gem and it was sweet, and adorable the writing was just delightful. I found myself grinning throughout most of the book. It was filled with humor, and delightful things that I found myself laughing nonstop. There two are very charming characters that have a exciting, intreasting, quirky, and beautiful courtship.

Plot
It doesn't take long for all of them to feel the dark evil, foreboding that has draped itself over Edinborgh. The awakening of the Black Fallen is just getting started and when they are fully themselves, the evil will certainly be crushing. Each of the team members will be trained in the art of sword fighting because the only way to kill the Black Fallen and their minions is to lop off their heads. Now that Riley and Eli are engaged they are more comfortable with each other and their love and passion knows no boundaries. There are intent on protecting one other from the evil that grows around them.
My Thoughts
The book was filled with creepy, diabolical things and I loved it. Black Fallen combines all these elements: romance, heartbrake, and action.All of these things set your nerves on edge while you are left with wanting more of the story.

Plot
Both Lady Hero and Lord Griffin have made themselves into what they want the ton and others to see but not who they truly are. It was drilled into her head to be the perfect daughter to make her family proud by making a good match. Hero is lost when she's pushed out of comfort zone by Griffin. She struggles through out the book should I do the right thing or should I step out of my comfort zone and take a chance on something i'am not sure about. In the end she chose love and Griffin.
My Thoughts
This series is just amazing and Notorious pleasures was a joy to read. Not only was it beautifully written, but it was set very well with some exciting moments. I thought the love story was very appropriate for the time period. What I liked was that there is a lot more going on than just the romance. The side characters were very well developed and I can't Waite for their stories.

Not only is Bryn really fierce in this installment but, she was kiss as well. It was full of action, suspense, and great revelations. She is not afraid to stand up for what she believes in and sees emotion as a form of weekness that she no longer wants or needs. That is why she hesitant to admit that she's fallen in love with her boss. Her friends Ember and Tilda are awesome they are there for her.
Plot
In this book we see Bryn is troubled by the dissaperance of the Skojare Queen and the investigation that starts because of that. She is punishing herself for allowing Konstanin and his accomplice to escape. When the king hears about her injures war has been declared on Konstanin with both high society and guards alike being trained for combat. She does blame herself, but she starts to realize that Konstanin isn't the emery, but a scapegoat of the kingdom. Where tension's have grown ten fold her friendship with Ridley is tense to scard to take an amotional risk of telling him about her feelings. She gives into temptation and settles for a night of passion before journeying to find the missing queen once more.
My Thoughts
This book
This story was filled with action, romance, and plenty of court politics. I was so I engrossed in this world that I was trying my hardest to guess who the real villain was and what was the big plot involving Konstanin and Victor Dalig was. It was the story-line, writing style and the cast of characters that not impressed me, but kept me entertained. I loved this book it was a great 2 book in the series.
