Summary

Riley Poe is bitten by both Arcos brothers and she now has to deal with having Strigoi tendencies. Because of this she is taken to the island by the Dupres. There are times when she is lucid and then times where she goes crazy and wants to take a bite out of everyone. 

She had two people in her head. One is Victorian and the other makes her see and feel things that she normally would not like, someone being raped, or killed. Seeing the terror in the victims faces as if she was there and is helpless to do anything about it. She is trapped in the killers conscience how can that be? The only other possible candidate for getting in her head is Valerian, and he's dead isn't he.

My Thoughts

I loved this book the story was engaging and flowed well. I liked that it literally picked up from where the first book left off. The author writes really strong characters with a story that is unique. Even the "bad guys" are so well written that you can't help but, like them. I was thinking about this book long after I had finished reading it. It was compelling and I wanted to keep reading it till I finished
