Summary
Bryn Aven is a Kanin, the most powerful of the troll tribe she is also a outcast. Because she is not a full Kanin. Bryn is a mix the other half she is a Skojare, but that is not all she is different in her apperance too. Where the Kanin are dark haired and dark skinned she is light haired and light skinned.
Plot
Bryn wants to be normal, fit in with the people that she has given her allegiance to. If she doesn't change her situation she will always be an outcast among the Kanin tribe. For the longest time her dream is to become a Hogdragen one of the finest, guards the Kanin has to offer, because she is only half Kanin and half Skojare she is considered to be the lesser of the full-bread Kanin. Bryn sets out to try and Change that by becoming a tracker and working her way up in the ranks.Her boss and good friend Ridley reminds her that she is special no matter what her race is and he also keeps her on a straight path. She is having these feelings for her boss that she should't and it is getting harder for to ignore them.
My Thoughts
This book was an awesome start to a new series. I knew it was going to be good, but I didn't expect to love it as much as I did. I found it to be a page turner and the wounderful characters are a great part ot the magic of this book. The plot and the world that was created around it was very well done. The big bad villain has a sympathetic background and I loved the romance that was building between Bryn and Ridley..
