Lily and the Major
( Otphan Train #1 )
By Linda Liael Miller
Summary
Lily and her sisters were given up by their mother and they ended up on the Oprah train. They were all adopted by different people and Lily vowed to find her sisters one day.
Plot
The book started out frailty well I loved her strength and I liked it he fact that she spoke her mind without hesitation and was clear about what she wanted. When the ( hero ) cable Halliday comes intoQ her life it is turned upside down. Cable is instantly drawn to het and refuses to get out of her life. I didn't like Cable at first because the was pushy, and arrogant and he insulted her right from the start. He though "love" and or "marriage" was to risky for ones heart that!s why he didn't want that. His world changed when Lily went head to head with him. Refusing to give up on her dreams or her independence to become his mistress.
I enjoyed the dialogue and the quarreling between them it was entertaining until chapter 15. From then on they kept comming back to the same issue over and over again and it became annoying
My Thoughts
I though I wold like this book more than I did but it felt short of what I though it could be there were parts that I liked and didn't like. The hero was an alpha male, but not in the way that I love. He only though about himself and only wanted one thing from Lily. As the story continues and it is obvious that they have feelings for each other, now it was Lily turn to be stubborn and not know what she wanted. One moment she wanted him and the next she doesn't want to give up her independence
Others books in this series
