His behaviour changes when a little spitfire widow who's name is Kathleen lifts her mourning vail, looks him in the eyes and gives him hell.

My Thoughts

This book was everything I hoped it would be. Mrs. Kleypas has the ability to make you want to step back in that time and live in it. The writing was flawless I enjoyed everything about this book such as: the descriptions, emotions, and the characters, and last their was the delightful pet pig named hamlet.
