Summary

Meredith and Sammy are on the run and end up renting a old broken down house across from Heath Masters 

Plot

Meredith and Sammy her daughter are on the run from her ex-father-in-law and when she finds out that her new neighbor is the local town sheriff. She tries to avoid him because 1 he is the sheriff and 2 because he's a man and she can't trust any man after the abuse she suffered at the hands of her husband. She starts to trust him little by little but eventually when her ex-father-in-law's goons show up she has no choise but to tell him everything.

My Thoughts

I absolutely loved the characters. Anderson writing makes you believe in the power of love the author  has the ability to creat such detailed, loveable, and romantic characters. A small town girl gets involved with the wrong people and finds herself in grave danger. Learning to trust again is really difficult but learning to love again makes this an awesome story.
