Review #10

                                                                   To Love A Dark Lor
                                                                   ( by Anne Stuart )

Summary

Emma is abused by her family, used for her money. One night her uncle try's to rape and kill her but she gets the best of him and he ends up dead. She is sure she will hang she doesn't run instead she waits in the room with her uncle. Killoran see's what happens and takes the blame.

Plot

James Killoran comes to Emma's aide multiple times. She always seems to have bad luck and is prayed upon by men. Killoran helps her out of  the susitions because it amuses him and he is always board.

Hero

James Killoran is a board dissolute Irish peer, and he is so emotionally damaged by his past that he feels he doesn't have a heart and can't feel any emotions at all. He doesn't care for anybody not even himself.  He had a dry sense of humor that I found remarkable.James killoran is definitely a guilty pleasure. I love a hero that can transform himself for love of a good woman

Heroine

Emma was a awesome herione she caught my attention right from the beginning when she killed her lecherous uncle. She had some serious guts and I admired that. I found she wasn't childish. She was brave, clever, and a born fighter.

My Thoughts

This was another home run by Anne Stuart. The book was awesome I loved the characters and I couldn't help but be drawn toward them I got sucked into this story. Killer an was as dark as you can get, but ounces he meets Emma things start to change little by little. The book was not only a emotional read, it was really well written as well. What I love was that the  James & Emma weren't your typical love struck H&H, they both had tortured pasts
