                                                                  To Sin With A Scoundrel
                                                                     ( #1 Circle Of Sin )

Summary

Because of Clara's dead husband's cruel and hateful words it made her dought her innerself. Her in laws make her life a living hell because they want her son's interitance not only that they went so far as to say she poisoned him. Instead of cracking under the stress, she held her head up high and fought them off for her son and for herself.

Plot

Since her in laws would not stop a plot was hatched by the women in her female science group ( Circle Of Sin ) they helped her get into the the Society that had shunned her with the help of Lucas who they were hoping would marry her.Her strength is seen clear as hell

My Thoughts

The romance build at a steady pace it was simple but, character driven. Because of all the characters especially Lucas the book came alive for me it was full of toung-in-check humor, very entertaining dialogue and a fun atmosphere.
Clara is fiesty and opinionated and relies on science and logic to keep her life orderly. She's both soft and strong and has many challenges and obstacles. She has persevered, is an extremely devoted mother and maintains her integrity in the face of difficult circumstances.
Lucas relies on his looks and, expertise in the bedroom to keep his life at bay. His devil may care facade hides an intelligent Witt a curious mind and a great capacity for love and affection.
As they work together to try and resolve problem they engage in a delightful battle of wills that had me laughing at times, I loved watching Lucas "grow up" as he comes to care for Clara and her son and try's to keep them safe. You are told right of the bat who the villain is, the journey toward the HEA is very romantic, and delightfully funny.
