Summary
This story was exciting and sometimes a little breathtaking, constructed by an intriguing world populated by some great characters.
Plot
The first part is about Kalan the leader of the ( Light Blades ) the fact that forces his command not only on the council but, also on the solders, by allowing Na'Chi to be part of their alliance. In order to win the on going war with the Na'Reish, the two sides need to work together to defeat the enemy. The second part is the romance between Varin and human priestess Kymora ( Kalan's Sister ).
Hero
Varin is the leader of the Na'Chi and yet they shun him because he's not physical perfect. His people may shun him but, he would do anything for them and nothing for himself. He always things about them even at a cost to his own health.
Heroine
Kymora is the blind priestess of the human religion she is the temple elect. She speaks for the lady who is the human's diety. She such a great character she cares about others and you marvel at how she can get around her blindness . She used her gift of being able to scence aura's and it as worked to perfect her gift. She believes that she has a destiny that the lady expects her to fulfill. The destiny is to bring the Na'Chi and the humans together to help save them all.
My Thoughts
Alliance Forged is a stunning continuation from the first book. It picks up right where the first one felt off. This time the reader's are thurst into after effects of the alliance between Na'Chi and human prejudice, rebellion, and hatred rears it's head all around them. I loved how the relationship between Kymora and Varin developes before finally blossoming into something special. Both these characters were magical I loved them.
